SMS Communications Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions ("SMS Terms") apply to all text message (SMS) communications sent by Loadmass Pty Ltd ("Loadmass", "we", "us") to customers and prospects who have opted in to receive SMS messages from us. By providing your mobile number and consenting to receive SMS messages, you agree to these SMS Terms.
1. The SMS ProgrammeLoadmass may send SMS messages to opted-in contacts for the following purposes:• Service reminders — recalibration, scheduled maintenance, and warranty expiry notices• Quote and order updates — status of your quote, order confirmation, and dispatch notifications• Installation scheduling — appointment confirmations, reminders, and technician ETA notifications• Product and service announcements — new products, upgrades, and promotions relevant to your fleet• General business communications — follow-ups and support responsesMessage frequency will vary depending on your activity with Loadmass. You may receive up to 4 messages per month as part of general communications, with additional transactional messages related to active orders or bookings.
2. How to Opt InYou can opt in to receive SMS messages from Loadmass by:• Providing your mobile number on any Loadmass web form and ticking the SMS consent checkbox• Verbally consenting when speaking with a Loadmass team member (recorded with a follow-up confirmation SMS)• Replying START or YES to an initial SMS sent by LoadmassBy opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or have authority to consent on behalf of the mobile number provided.
3. How to Opt OutYou can opt out of Loadmass SMS communications at any time by:• Replying STOP to any SMS message from Loadmass• Contacting us at info@loadmass.com.au or 1300 562 362 and requesting removal• Updating your communication preferences via your account if applicableOnce you opt out, we will remove your number from our SMS list within 5 business days. You may still receive transactional SMS messages directly related to an active order or booking until that job is complete.
4. Message and Data RatesLoadmass does not charge for SMS messages we send to you. However, standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Please check with your carrier if you are unsure about your plan inclusions.Loadmass is not responsible for any charges applied by your mobile carrier in connection with receiving our SMS messages.
5. Your Mobile NumberBy providing your mobile number, you confirm that:• The number belongs to you or you have authority to provide it• You will notify Loadmass if your mobile number changes• You consent to Loadmass storing and using your number for the purposes described in these SMS Terms Loadmass will not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your number may be shared with service providers who assist in delivering our SMS communications (such as SMS platform providers) under strict confidentiality obligations.
6. PrivacyThe collection and handling of your mobile number and SMS communication data is governed by the Loadmass Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). 7. Supported CarriersLoadmass SMS messages are sent via standard Australian SMS delivery. Messages are supported on all major Australian mobile networks including Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone. Delivery may be delayed or unavailable in areas with poor network coverage.Loadmass is not responsible for non-delivery of SMS messages due to network issues, incorrect mobile numbers, or device settings.
8. Changes to These SMS TermsLoadmass may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Updated terms will be published at loadmass.com.au. Continued receipt of SMS messages after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to any changes, please opt out as described in Section 3.
